Broken pelvis

Anyone here suffered such an injury? My sis broke hers last night and am wondering what the recovery is like..

I you are implying that my claim is costing YOU then write to the council and INSIST that they do adequate repairs so no one could hold their shoddy workmanship responsible for my injuries

I have I was walking along the path and tripped over a badly repaired section of pathway. I fractured my pelvis and broke my humorus ( no I didn't find it funny).
I was off work for 3 months . I had extreme difficulty negotiating the stairs and. ended up using a commode and a walking frame around the house. I wasn't too put out as I had Netflix and nowtv for company and a lorryload of books, I was happy as a pig in shit.
I think I found it easier to come down the stairs backwards, the movements were less painful that way
After 3 months my walking still wasn't back to normal and I suffered twinges when walking but 2 years on I think I'm as good as I am going to get.
I hope she recovers fully,it turned out that I actually cracked the pelvis in 2places
